What's This All About?

I was inspired to start a Blog by the wonderful example of Ron Blough, my good friend and former Pastor from Ninilchik, Alaska. When he retired some time back he started a blog as a way to stay in touch with his large family and larger group of friends around the world. His blog is a wonderful mixture of Bible inspiration, news, reminiscences, humor and photos. Since he and wife Marlene now live in Hoonah, Alaska (you can hardly get further off the beaten path), it appears to be a great solution to staying in touch. Blogs also have the benefit that folks can chose to check in or not without any burden to scan/read/reply or delete. While I'm confident that everything I put in this blog will be fascinating, scintillating, and extremely edifying, I'm also confident that not everyone will share my possibly biased view. Feel free to tune in or out as you choose.

Linda and I are starting a new chapter in our lives this Spring and hope that with retirement and relocation to Port Townsend, Washington the coming years will include more time for reflection and for staying in touch with family and lifelong friends in more meaningful ways. Future blogs will include updates on our situation and plans. We look forward to your comments and suggestions as we go along.

Love to all,

Rich and Linda
